The Reflection of Times End

A World where time has ran its course, and all has crumbled to an end. Mountains have been ground to dust, and the world is a waste land. Its unknown whether this was caused by a calamity, or if its the natural end of all things. Most people try to reclaim what theyhave lost or never known, trying to restore the World, or salvage what they can from its BArrens urface and make due. Some try to finish what they say should have been finsihed, that is the destruction of the world. Nobody on either side try harder than the Dragons of this World howerver. Relics of magic and technology lay waiting to resurface, and there power be used, for good or ill. The source of the Technology power source.

Suggestions from Glen:

When you enter rapture, you may enter into a seemingly endless dimension, but not always the same location. On one visit you may end up in the Mournland, in another a ruined metropolis, in yet another a nuclear waste land, or even a overgrown aztec temples. Each of these are specific reflections, whether the end of time for civilization, or life, or any other important concept. All these sub-reflections have one thing in common: If you walk far enough, you can enter either other sub reflections, or the main reflection (Described above). How one would arrive in these locations, I still am wondering about.

Inhabitants:

Inhabitants are always based on the environment they live in, or change the environment to suit them. Because of this, Rapture has many different inhabitants, but quite a few only exist in sub-reflections. When making Inhabitants, it can be helpful to consider:

  • Where they get their basic nutrients from.
  • How many of them should there be
  • Can they reproduce easily or not
  • What competition do they have.

Important Figures:

In any wasteland, the most important figures are those with access to the greatest amount of resources (And with the best protection). Generally each Sub-reflection has one, but the main reflection tends to have many.

Sample Powerful Figure: Dragontech Ascendant
