Beacon Hermit, a crab Reploid, has gone Maverick. Near the shore there is suspected to be a base.

- Former Lifeguard. C rank threat, but Water specialist.
- No previous Maverick behaviour, virus assumed.
- Name comes from his "Beacon Light", a powerful light/sensor suite.
- Shell can render him invincible for some amount of time. It is also large enough to fit two people.

- Hook up with the 6th for some water support troops.
